Mahalo!

Introduction
This website is dedicated to raising awareness about the presence and impact of non-native ungulates, such as pigs, goats, deer, sheep, and cattle, across the Hawaiian Islands. These animals significantly affect Hawaiʻi’s unique ecosystems, contributing to habitat degradation, native species loss, and soil erosion. Beyond environmental concerns, ungulates also influence local economies, agricultural and cultural practices. Here, we provide science-based information, research findings, and insights to support informed decision-making and promote sustainable land management across the islands.
